Position Description:

The Event Coordinator will work with the marketing team to strengthen corporate marketing efforts, helping the company to reach overall growth goals. The heavy hitter items of this position are event planning and management, partner program support and email marketing.   This position is heavily focused on sales team support efforts. You should be well written and confident in developing materials appropriate for our target market of property owners/managers and elevator contractors.  

You will work primarily on outbound marketing efforts to include items specifically focused on our sales reps in the field and their given territories. A goal of this position is to help develop and manage multi-touch marketing campaigns that serve to generate leads in each of our sales reps markets. Working closely with the sales team is key. Key deliverables include event planning and management, email marketing, advertising creation/management, management of association involvement, develop sales/product specific marketing and sales pieces, strategy for marketing communication follow up to outbound generated leads, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Event planning and management (trade shows, sponsored events, etc.)
  • Business-to-business (B2B) outbound lead generation, nurturing and management (prior to turnover to our telemarketing team and then/or sales team)
  • Email Marketing- pre and post show event marketing, creating campaigns to nurture prospects and customers at all stages in the funnel.
  • Campaign development, implementation and management- email, direct mail, etc.
  • Manage marketing department key vendor relationships
  • Develop/design, create and order sales support materials to include business cards, logo items, marketing print and digital materials
  • Write content and support online activity with graphics as needed- light graphic design to facilitate activity
  • Website content management- specific to trade shows/event updates
  • Establish effective working relationship with internal team
  • Database management: Must be comfortable working in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to provide input regarding support materials and other outbound efforts to broaden prospects knowledge and awareness of Kings III
  • Other duties as assigned by VP of Marketing (supervisor)

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Goal-oriented and dependable
  • Positive, competitive and determined attitude. A sense of humor is a plus!
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing (B2B or B2C;doesn’t have to be B2B specific)
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • Experience with email marketing
  • Experience with event planning and trade shows
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, illustrator, etc.) and design/creative skill set
  • Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience with analytics, campaign tracking and measurement preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Travel will be negligible, but flexibility to do so up to 10% of the time if needed

Beneficial (but not required) Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tool software (we use Act-On)
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce.com a plus)
  • Video creation/editing experience
