Position Description:

The New Market Launch Specialist will work with the marketing team to strengthen corporate marketing efforts, helping the company to reach overall growth goals. The heavy hitter items of this position are developing plans for entry into new markets and execution upon those plans. This position is heavily focused on expanding into new geographies and working across both sales and marketing teams to prime those markets for entry (hiring of a new sales rep). You should be organized, task and deadline oriented and able to juggle multiple initiatives in a short period of time – think project management. 

A goal of this position is to help develop and manage multi-touch marketing campaigns that serve to generate leads, appointments and ultimately sales in each of our sales reps markets. Working closely with the sales team is key. In 2018, we expect to expand into four new markets with six new markets on average to follow in 2019 and beyond. It will be key that you are self-driven, focused on plan completion and on evaluation metrics associated with success of a new market launch. You will need to be agile and able to pivot, thinking quickly and creatively on any changes we may want to explore within a market or from one market to another.

** In this position, you’ll need to be highly organized and have stellar time management skills. **


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Experience with project management and coordinating efforts across departments
  • Business-to-business (B2B) outbound lead generation, nurturing and management (prior to turnover to our telemarketing team and then/or sales team)
  • Campaign development, implementation and management- email, direct mail, etc.
  • Creative mindset to facilitate in proactively developing innovative market launch special promotions, activity plans to implement those promotions, and ability to execute.
  • Research and evaluate trade associations, related sponsorship and event opportunities, advertising and brand awareness opportunities in new markets.
  • Develop message, design, create and order customized support materials for market launch
  • Email Marketing- experience in product or market launch promotion as well as list segmentation a plus.  
  • Write content and support online activity with graphics as needed- light graphic design to facilitate activity
  • Ability to manage expense tracking against budget expectations for new market launch.
  • Establish effective working relationship with internal team
  • Database management: Must be comfortable working in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to provide input regarding support materials and other outbound efforts to broaden prospects knowledge and awareness of Kings III
  • Other duties as assigned by VP of Marketing (supervisor)


Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Goal-oriented and dependable
  • Positive, competitive and determined attitude. A sense of humor is a plus!
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing (B2B or B2C; doesn’t have to be B2B specific) or project management
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • Experience with project management and coordinating efforts across departments
  • Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical focus preferred
  • Experience with email marketing


Beneficial (but not required) Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tool software (we use Act-On)
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce.com a plus)
