While it is difficult to define a typical day for this position, your accountabilities will include:

  1. Identify appropriate targets and set appointments to present our services to buyers.  Use CRM software to enter contact details, produce proposals and to track steps taken and to be taken.

  3. Guide prospects through the sales cycle, which may take from two weeks to one year, but three weeks is typical.
  4. Control and cull targets in order to manage real sales opportunities and invest your time wisely.

By far the most time-intensive aspect of this role is prospecting, presenting to customers, closing sales, and follow-up activities.  Most of your calls, meetings, and follow-up and survey activities will occur between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Generating proposals and other planning activities will typically occur outside of this window.

Your progress and accomplishments will be measured by your activity and sales volume.

More Background Information

The following, detailed description is intended to provide a realistic picture of the opportunity so that you can make a well-informed decision about applying for the position.

Based in Dallas – Ft. Worth, Kings III Emergency Communications provides turnkey installation, maintenance, and monitoring services for our emergency communication products. Our equipment is an ADA compliant emergency telephone in an elevator or beside a public or commercial swimming pool but also includes free standing help phones in campus environments, in parking garages, in stairwells or other areas of refuge in a building.  Your creativity and ability to recognize opportunities can expand our business.

We have a number of national agreements and government contracts and desire to expand those relationships and add new ones, but the vast majority of sales come from individual properties and local or regional companies.

We were established in 1989 and our goal is to provide unsurpassed service to our clients. Currently, we are the service provider at tens of thousands of locations in the continental United States and Canada.  We desire to significantly increase our market share over the next five years and reaching this goal requires growing our sales teams across the United States.

Our technology is often the initial reason clients choose Kings III. This technology allows us to eliminate the need for expensive dedicated emergency telephone lines that average $50 - $75 per month nationally.  They subsequently do more business with us because we bring an overall risk management ability that didn’t exist in their prior solution, deliver on our service commitments, and assure that each installation is code compliant.

How to Apply:

If the above describes you and the opportunity you are looking for, we want to hear from you.  If your resume looks favorable we will contact you to schedule a telephone interview, which may be followed closely by a personal, face-to-face meeting to discuss your qualifications and the opportunity.
