Description
The Field Team Manager (FTM) is responsible for ensuring that all installation and service requirements are completed timely in assigned territory.  The FTM reviews the work tickets, determines the scope of each project, communicates promptly and proactively with customers, schedules labor resources and monitors the completion of jobs in their assigned territory.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Management of labor resources and expenditures  for the installations and service calls in their assigned territory
  • Identify needs regarding training/development for the technicians in their assigned territory and provide routine feedback and assessment of staff performance
  • Monitor and update the “backlog” in Sedona to ensure proper management of all installations and service request in their assigned territory.
  • Assist with cost forecasting, producing monthly reporting as required
  • Ensure performance management of Field Technicians to achieve service quality and technician efficiency
  • Ensure field operations adhere to Kings III Core Values, policies, and procedures and are compliant with all applicable external regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication channels are maintained with all appropriate areas of the business
 
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of the Alarm/Emergency Phone industry
  • Supervisory experience of remote field personnel
  • Understanding of resource planning requirements in a dynamic environment
 
SKILLS:
  • Strong problem solving ability in order to recognize difficulties and take the appropriate steps to proactively address the issues.
  • Strong project management skills in order to deliver targets within budgets and timelines.
  • Performance management skills ensuring individuals and teams achieve their full potential
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good dispute and resolution handling skills in order to manage customer requests and/or complaints effectively and proactively
  • Influencing and motivational skills in order to work with field labor resources
