Collection Specialist - Customer Service Representative for Accounts Receivable


Kings III is looking for a friendly, outgoing representative to reach out to our commercial customers for account reconciliation. This person will be responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining appropriate ongoing customer contact, recording notes in customer account records, and providing overall customer support.


Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to past due accounts by providing missing invoices or account information.
• Contact past due customers to inquire on payment status.
• Perform account reconciliations as needed to resolve customer issues.
• Apply knowledge and understanding of individual customer accounts to efficiently and effectively handle account balance inquiries, resolve account problems, billing disputes, and other issues as needed to provide quality customer service.
• Identify and research open invoices/payments on accounts.
• Process/research returned mail.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly personality with at least one year of outbound commercial collections experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be well organized and have strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Effective time management.
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Results oriented and uses good judgment.
• Demonstrates initiative and a self-starter.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, effective in a team environment and customer focused.
• MS Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
