The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is a key part of Kings III’s immediate and long term growth plan. The SDR’s main focus is to produce and qualify leads for Outside Sales Representatives in the field. The SDR is responsible for working an existing lead database, as well as expanding on that database. They would utilize sales and marketing tools as well as online research techniques to identify key contacts at property management companies, do initial outreach and manage follow up with said contacts. The SDR is successful when an appointment is made for an Outside Sales Representative with a potential client. This process includes maintaining precise and accurate information within the customer relationship management system (CRM), so attention to detail is a must. The SDR is also responsible for maintaining relationships and excellent communication with the Outside Sales Representatives they are supporting, so attention to internal customer service is also a must.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who is goal oriented, money motivated, and has the desire to achieve at a high level. The role is a remote/ work from home position, so SDRs must be able to work independently as well as on a team. Base pay is $17/ hr., and includes commissions, benefits, and bonuses.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

  • 1-year experience in Telephone Sales including cold calling, telemarketing, presentation, & closing
  • Naturally self-motivated, driven and competitive

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team Spirit
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Proficiency with internet research
  • Detail oriented

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with CRM software (We use Salesforce.com)
  • Proficient user of MS Word and Excel
  • Sense of humor is a plus
  • 6-months cold calling to set appointments for sales reps to meet with prospects
