Kings III Emergency Communications is the nation’s leading provider of emergency telephones for elevators, parking garages, and public/commercial swimming pools. We offer our clients comprehensive solutions that include equipment installation, 24-hour monitoring, and routine/emergency maintenance and repair services.

Overview

The Admin will provide a broad range of support in a mission critical 24x7 emergency call center environment. Systems range from Windows Servers, HP network infrastructure including telecom, mobile devices and key vertical applications critical to our service delivery. They will provide immediate investigation and troubleshooting of system issues and apply corrections, monitor system performance, administrate vendors and service providers, and provide key insight and guidance for the evolution of the infrastructure. They will also act as lead in network and systems troubleshooting, moves, adds, and changes and directly interact with users to meet their needs.

The Admin will be working with a small team or independently to determine issues, challenges, and operational advancements to deliver fixes, solutions, and new and practical systems, software, and processes to meet goals. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication are a key component the candidate must bring to this role. A broad IT skill set and a desire to work in a multi-disciplined environment is a must.

Required Experience

Our ideal candidate must have the ability to:

  • Perform and monitor local and network backups and perform restores
  • Administrate and maintain network switches, routers, and firewalls including Aruba, SonicWALL, and Meraki equipment
  • Administrate and maintain end-point security for servers, desktop, and mobile devices
  • Office365 administration
  • Administrate and maintain network infrastructure including cable plant
  • Administrate and maintain VMs in a Hyper-V environment
  • Administrate and maintain SAN equipment
  • Administrate and maintain Windows Active Directory including DNS and DHCP services
  • Troubleshoot and Administer Windows Desktop environment
  • Troubleshoot and Administer end-user mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Monitor, report, and address mission critical system faults and outages
  • Proactively analyze system functions, establish the metrics to measure performance, and advance the overall infrastructure
  • Administrate and maintain power infrastructure including centralized and decentralized UPS and generators
  • Administrate and maintain SIP-based telecommunications, SBC’s, service providers
  • SQL Server administration, reports, queries, data imports and exports


Beneficial Experience

  • Previous experience in supporting mission critical call centers, fire and security central stations, threat/security operations centers, or other 24x7 staffed communications centers
  • Knowledge and experience with Bold Technologies Manitou and/or Sedona Office a plus
  • Administration and maintenance of Azure and AWS services


Education

  • High School Diploma Required
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent job experience
  • Recent certifications and experience directly relating to those certifications a plus: Network+, Cisco, Microsoft


Travel Possible (<10%)
